Abstract

Figee Card ialah nota maya yang memaparkan objek tiga dimensi (3D) dan animasi menggunakan konsep Augmented Reality (AR) yang dibina untuk membantu pelajar memahami dan mengingati kumpulan berfungsi dalam kimia organik. Figee Card yang dibina dalam kajian ini menyokong pembelajaran digital berpusatkan pelajar di era pandemik Covid-19. Kajian bertujuan untuk membina Figee Card, menguji kesan penggunaan dan mengenalpasti persepsi kepuasan pelajar terhadap peningkatan kemahiran mengenalpasti kumpulan berfungsi dalam topik Introduction to OrganicChemistry. Kumpulan sasaran adalah seramai 103 responden kajian yang terdiri daripada pelajar Program Matrikulasi Sains, Sistem Dua Semester (SDS) dan Sistem Empat Semester (SES) bagi Modul 1, Modul 2 dan Modul 3. Ujian Pra dan Ujian Pasca digunakan untuk menguji kesan penggunaan manakala soal selidik pula digunakan untuk mengenalpasti persepsi kepuasan pelajar terhadap penggunaan Figee Card secara rawak melalui pautan Google Form. Data dikumpul dan dianalisis menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 26 menggunakan analisis Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test dan analisis deskriptif interpretasi skor min serta korelasi. Dapatan menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan pada markah Ujian Pra dan Ujian Pasca penggunaan Figee Card. Ini membuktikan Figee Card dapat mengatasi masalah mengenalpasti kumpulan berfungsi dalam kimia organik. Interprestasi skor min keseluruhan daripada soal selidik pula adalah 4.39 ± 0.16. Ini menunjukkan persepsi kepuasan pelajar terhadap penggunaan Figee Card sebagai bahan pembelajaran digital pada tahap yang sangat tinggi kerana ia telah meningkatkan kemahiranmengingat dan mengenalpasti kumpulan berfungsi dengan mudah, menarik dan interaktif.

Figee Card is a virtual note that displays three-dimensional (3D) objects and animations using Augmented Reality (AR) concepts built to help students understand and remember functional groups in organic chemistry. The Figee Card built in this study supports student-centered digital learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The study aims to build a Figee Card, test the effect of use and identify the perception of student satisfaction towards improving the skills of identifying functional groups in the topic Introduction to Organic Chemistry. The target group is a total of 103 study respondents who are students of the Science Matriculation Program, Two Semester System (SDS) and Four Semester System (SES) for Module 1, Module 2 and Module 3. Pre-Test and Post-Test are used to test the effect of use while questions The survey was used to identify the perception of student satisfaction towards the use of Figee Card randomly through the Google Form link. Data was collected and analyzed using SPSS software version 26 using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test analysis and descriptive analysis of mean score interpretation and correlation. Findings show that there is a significant difference in the scores of Pre-Test and Post-Test using Figee Card. This proves that Figee Card can overcome the problem of identifying functional groups in organic chemistry. The interpretation of the overall mean score from the questionnaire was 4.39 ± 0.16. This shows the perception of student satisfaction towards the use of Figee Card as a digital learning material at a very high level because it has improved the ability to remember and identify functional groups easily, interestingly and interactively.
